Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie have been embroiled in a messy lawsuit since filing for divorce in September 2016, but the pair haven’t always been at odds.
The Oscar winners are said to have fallen for each other while filming the 2005 action flick Mr and Mrs Smith. The development of their relationship immediately caused controversy since Pitt was married Jennifer Aniston at the time. The Friends alum filed for divorce from Pitt in March 2005.
Pitt and Jolie welcomed daughter Shiloh in 2006, the same year they adopted son Maddox and daughter Zahara. Jolie adopted son Pax in 2007 (Pitt followed in 2008). Their twins, Knox and Vivienne, were born in July 2008.
The couple officially tied the knot in France in August 2014, but called it quits two years later. Jolie has accused her ex of “physical and emotional abuse” towards her and their children during a September 2016 flight from California to France, which Pitt denied. The couple settled their divorce eight years later in December 2024.
Pitt filed a lawsuit against Jolie in February 2022, claiming she illegally sold her stake in French winery Château Miraval without his permission.
