‘Boston Blue’ erases Ernie Hudson
Ernie Hudson has joined “Boston Blue”, CBS ‘upcoming spider -off of “Blue Bloods”, like a series regularly.
The series plays Donnie Wahlberg as his ‘Blue Bloods’ character, Detective Danny Reagan, who moves to Boston and cooperates with Detective Lena Silver (Sonequa Martin-Green), the oldest daughter of a prominent law enforcement family.
Hudson plays the patriarch of that family, pastor Peters, who is described as’ a renowned pastor of a historic Baptist church in Boston. A open -minded, hospitable man who feels comfortable in all traditions, he is happy to remain silent about the traditional Sunday Baptist service. Rookie Patrol Cop, Isaac Silver.
CBS Studios produces “Boston Blue” in collaboration with JBTV. Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis serve as show runners and executive products alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Kristieanne Reed and Wahlberg. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.
Speaking of the Silvers family during a recent CBS press conference in Los Angeles, where her casting was announced, said Martin-Green: “We have all loved the reagans for so long and I feel that we will also love the Silvers.”
Wahlberg added: “There are so many law enforcement families in this country. There are not only the reagans. They are in every state, every city, every city, everywhere, and there are other families who also have stories to tell. Danny’s story will also continue with the Reagan family. You can’t have Danny without Reagans.
