A celebration of July 4 was demolished after a boat went up in flames on Georgia’s Lake Lanier Friday evening … and the shocking scene is on video.

View the terrifying clip … Spectators look at the 5-foot fire that the ship takes over while sirens are heard in the background.
Fortunately, no fatalities were reported … but 5 were transported to local hospitals – at least one of them was flown in, per Atlanta News First. Allegedly the injured second and third degree have burns.
Two others were reportedly treated for small injuries on the spot.
It is not clear why the cruiser caught fire … but the fierce fire was postponed by a GaineSville Fire Marine Rescue Boat.
An investigation is underway.
TMZ reached contact with the Hall County Fire Department and Law Enforcement Department of the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for more information … Until now, no word back.
