Bonnie Blue Breaks Off Her Arrest in Bali, Interrogation Details (Excl.)

Adult content creator Bonnie Blue is ready to share her side of the story after her much-publicized arrest in Bali.
“I mean, I was definitely nervous,” the 26-year-old Blue exclusively shared We weekly of her mindset before she was detained. “In previous years I wanted to do Bali, but I was aware of how strict Bali can be, so I avoided it and went to Fiji instead. This year I went in with more information. I had already chosen a lawyer in case something went wrong. So I became aware of my risk, but I was happy to take the risk.”
Earlier this month, news broke that Blue, 26, had been arrested in Bali, where she was traveling for ‘Schoolies’ – an event where Australian high school students celebrated the end of the school year. A police statement at the time said Blue had been taken into custody for allegedly “creating content that contained pornographic or immoral elements.”
Blue said Us she faced two charges. “One was pornographic content, and the other was related to that,” she explained. Ultimately, she was charged approximately $12 in connection with traffic violations involving her “Bangbus” and was banned from Indonesia for six months.

How long was Bonnie Blue in Bali before her arrest?
Blue explained that she started ‘Schoolies’ on November 28 with plans to wrap up the event on December 5. She was arrested a day earlier.
“To be honest, it ended perfectly. If it was the first day of Schoolies, I would have said, ‘Okay, this is frustrating. I came here for a purpose, and now Schoolies is happening and I’m in jail,'” Blue said. “But the timing was perfect.”
Were Bonnie Blue’s images deleted after her arrest?
Despite being “concerned” about her footage being deleted, Blue said she “knew” she needed to back up “so much of the content” – and that she had “already sent the footage and deleted it from my hard drives and laptops.”
“There was content from that day and the last 24 hours that I couldn’t remember if I backed it up or not,” she said. “So I thought, ‘Gosh, that’s going to be frustrating if I don’t get sent to jail and come out and not have the contents.’ However, no content has been removed. So that was a bonus.”
Bonnie Blue claims someone ‘reported’ her whereabouts to police before her arrest
Blue claimed that someone had contacted her before she went to Bali and offered to organize lawyers, an Airbnb and “contacts” with people “if any problems arose.” Blue ended up paying about $100,000 for the alleged services, but realized when she arrived in Bali that this person was claiming to have connections to people she did not.
“I thought, ‘Okay, hats off to her because she’s just taken £75,000 from me,’” Blue recalls. “I mean, from the day I landed, she reported to the police, told them where I was and what I was up to, and it made the police, I think, a lot easier to conduct their investigation because he was always aware of my location before I arrived.”
Blue speculated that this person was conspiring against her “for the money and to try to get connections.”
What happened during Bonnie Blue’s raid?
Blue claimed that during the raid there were about forty police officers who “completely destroyed the villa”. She also claimed that some were FaceTiming their friends to talk about the raid and “put the camera in.” [her] sight.”
“One of the things that’s obviously been talked about a lot is respect, saying I disrespected a country that has very high morals,” Blue said. “And I think if that was really the case, I wouldn’t have had police officers shoving a camera in my face and FaceTiming friends and family saying they arrested me and saying they were going to charge me.”
Blue claimed she was told to take off her pants because they were “being used for porn,” which she said “wasn’t the case.” She claimed they were “just trying to humiliate [her] at every possible point.”
“This point was scary because I asked for a lawyer, and they all ignored me. They acted like they didn’t speak English,” she claimed.
Bonnie Blue had to explain ‘Rage Bait Content’ to police officers
After the police officers reviewed the alleged evidence for a few hours, Blue said she went to the police station and met with her attorney, which was “somewhat reassuring.” Even though the lawyer didn’t speak “a whole lot of English,” he assured Blue that things “would be fine.”
“He said, ‘Don’t worry, you’ll be gone in an hour.’ That hour ended up being a really long week,” Blue said. “So yeah, it was definitely scary at times, but more frustrating than anything because they’re really stupid and trying to explain some of my rage bait content to them.”
How long was Bonnie Blue interrogated after her arrest?
Blue explained that she was “interrogated for the first 30 hours” and “wasn’t allowed to leave the police station.”
“I was interrogated,” she said. “I wasn’t allowed to sleep much, no food, little water, toilets without toilet paper. Hygiene was not an issue there at all.”
Blue said she was released after about 30-35 hours and sent to immigration, who took her passport. “They didn’t arrest me because there were probably 20 of us in total. They don’t have the space to hold 20 people, so we were allowed to leave, but I had no phone, no money, obviously, no passport,” she claimed. “I wasn’t allowed to return to my villa because it was a crime scene. We are in the middle of Bali and we say, ‘What do we do? Where are we going?'”
Where did Bonnie Blue stay after her arrest in Bali?
Blue explained that the family of one of her “Schoolies” contestants “stood [them] in their hotel.”
“We ordered room service, took a shower, so that was really nice, and nice to feel fresh and clean again, but I still had no clothes, like no clean underwear,” she said. “The next day we had to go back to the police station for further questioning, but after the first 30 hours I was able to check into a hotel, so I wasn’t in jail.”
How did Bonnie Blue feel after her arrest?
After her arrest, photos circulated online of Blue smiling and seemingly having a positive attitude. Reflecting on that time, Blue explained that she wouldn’t “cry” even if she went to prison.
“If I go to jail, crying usually doesn’t accomplish anything,” she said. “And I can’t stand it when people shed crocodile tears. So yeah, sucking on a lollipop and wearing a cute two-piece was the best I could do.”
When could Bonnie leave Blue Bali?
After being fined $12 for traffic violations with her ‘Bangbus’ and given a six-month ban from Indonesia, Blue claimed she should be interrogated again. She was then able to board her flight and was given her passport back.
“That was scary because it was like you had told the press and the whole world that you had just released me. But the reality is I’m sitting back in an office, not allowed to go to the toilet and not allowed to drink unless you say so,” she claimed. “We didn’t feel safe until we got on that plane and that plane took off.”
Did creators approach Bonnie Blue after her arrest?
Blue claimed that “many creators” had reached out, with some “confused as to whether it was a stunt.” When Blue didn’t respond to their messages for a few days, the creators realized it was real. “A lot of support, a lot of love,” she said. “Obviously we’re haters, like always, but you’ll always have that.”
Will Bonnie Blue return to Bali?
Despite her six-month ban from Indonesia, Blue said she has her sights set on returning in 2026 for another ‘Schoolies’ event. “I’ll be back in time for Schoolies next year,” she said. “It couldn’t have turned out better for me.”
