Billy Griffith, Shannah Butterfield named in Bermuda Tourism appointments | News

Caribbean tourism veteran William ‘Billy’ Griffith has been appointed chairman of the Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA) Board while Shanna Butterfield joins the Board of Directors.
Griffith, former CEO of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. and former Director of Tourism of Bermuda, previously served in this role as an acting actor. Butterfield is a Certified Senior Human Resource Professional with more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors.
Bermuda’s Minister of Tourism, Transport, Culture and Sport, Owen Darrell, commented: “I am pleased that Mr. Griffith and Ms. Butterfield have accepted invitations to serve. I am confident that their professional backgrounds and passion for the industry will add a valuable perspective to the Board of Directors. They will join the current five directors, a team of business and tourism professionals who are committed to promoting Bermuda and driving economic growth.”
