Billionaire’s $50 Million Mansion in Turks and Caicos Shown on Netflix and Bravo Goes to Auction – No Reserve

A $50 million Turks and Caicos property that has featured in a series of wildly popular reality TV shows, including Bravo’s ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip’ and Netflix’s ‘Too Hot to Handle’, is going to auction next month – without reserve.
That means the property, currently on the market for $50 million, could theoretically sell for as little as $1, although the seller is hoping a buyer willing to spend a lot more money will come forward.
The lavish residence is currently owned by a French businessman Fabrice Grindawho purchased the property for $11.5 million in 2019, then poured more than $30 million into renovations, including a significant expansion of the original floor plan.
Over the past seven years, the property has been offered as both a reality TV backdrop and a luxury vacation home, before Grinda put it on the market for $30 million in 2022, as first reported by Mansion Global.
At the time, however, the home’s updates were not all completed, and some are still underway, including the addition of solar panels that are expected to save a future owner up to $300,000 per year.

Now Grinda will try his luck on the auction block on April 17, when his extravagant home goes under the hammer at Platinum Luxury Auctions, led by Trayor Lesnock.
According to a press release shared with Realtor.com®, Grinda has made the decision to part ways with the property to turn his attention to some of the other opulent homes in his portfolio, which he hopes to transform in the same luxurious way he did with this property, known as Triton Luxury Villa.
“That vision ultimately turned the estate into a turnkey cinematic backdrop, attracting the attention of major streaming platforms,” the release said.
“The property was selected as a filming location for ‘Too Hot to Handle’ (season 6), where its infinity pools, oceanfront terraces and dramatic architecture were broadcast to Netflix’s huge international audience.
“It also hosted ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,’ which put the estate in front of millions of Bravo viewers and cemented its pop culture status,” the press release said.
The house extends over 18,300 square meters, more than 7 hectares. It features 15 bedrooms, two swimming pools, a hot tub, a cold plunge pool and a beachfront gym.
The property will also transition to a completely off-the-grid infrastructure.

According to the press release, rental income can reach $32,000 per night, making the property ideal for anyone looking for a longer-term business investment.
The information also revealed that, despite the property’s ties to the world of reality TV, it is far from just another on-screen mansion, but rather an impressive brand of its own, one that has built a reputation as one of the world’s most luxurious locations to host a host of events.
“Unlike many luxury homes that are short-term rentals for production, Triton reflects Grinda’s personal investment strategy and approach to building global brands,” the release said.
“The estate has doubled as a private retreat and as a host venue for high-level technology conferences, including the Triton Crypto Summit and FJ Labs retreats, attracting international founders and investors, effectively positioning Turks and Caicos as an emerging technology and lifestyle destination.”
Upon entering the home, guests are greeted with an expansive floor plan that perfectly combines white and black furnishings and modern furnishings.
The bedrooms have French doors that offer panoramic views of the water.
The elegant bathrooms feature large bathtubs and chic accents.

The living room features double sofas, a patterned ceiling and access to the serene outdoor area.
Elsewhere in the house there is also a large theater room with a fire pit in the middle.
Meanwhile, the backyard has an outdoor kitchen, next to the sparkling pool and tennis court.
The curated-style estate also has another very impressive distinction: it has become the first venue in Turks and Caicos to be equipped with private padel courts.
“In 2021, Miami-based Togu Design led a major expansion by adding four garden bungalows and Turks and Caicos’ first padel courts as part of a world-class racquet sports center, in addition to a red clay tennis court and pickleball court, further increasing the estate’s appeal to elite guests and manufacturing companies alike,” the press release said.
If the estate ends up on the auction block without a reserve, the property goes to the highest bidder, regardless of price.
According to the press release: “Given the intersection of billionaire ownership, streaming fame, celebrity guests and ultra-luxury real estate in the Caribbean, Triton presents a rare story at the intersection of business, entertainment and global lifestyle.”
