Bill Gates labels Epstein’s emails about him ‘completely untrue’

Newly released emails from the US Department of Justice include allegations from Jeffrey Epstein that Bill Gates tried to hide a sexually transmitted infection from his then-wife, Melinda French Gates, RadarOnline.com can report.

On Friday, January 30, the DOJ released more than 3 million files from a criminal investigation into Epstein.

Among the newly released documents are draft emails that Epstein addressed to himself in 2013 that contained unverified claims involving Gates. One email dated July 18, 2013, with the subject line “Bill,” alleges Gates contracted an STD of what Epstein called “Russian girls.”

“To add insult to injury that you then receive with tears in your eyes, beg me to please delete the emails about your STD, your request that I give you antibiotics to secretly give to Melinda, and the description of your p—-,” Epstein’s email read.

A spokesperson for Gates strongly denied the allegations in a statement obtained by outlets.

“These claims are absolutely absurd and completely false,” the spokesperson said. “All these documents show is Epstein’s frustration at not having an ongoing relationship with Gates and the lengths he would go to entrap and defame him.

The draft emails appeared to be written for Boris Nikolic, a former adviser to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. However, the documents do not show that Nikolic wrote or was aware of the drafts or allegations.

Nikolic, a physician and biotech venture capitalist, resigned in 2014 as chief adviser for science and technology at the Gates Foundation. In 2019, a spokesperson for Nikolic said he had no business ties to Epstein, Bloomberg reported.

Another email attributed to Epstein details alleged actions involving Nikolic, stating: “In my role as his right-hand man, I have been asked and wrongfully agreed to participate in things that ranged from morally inappropriate to ethically unsound and was repeatedly asked to do things that came close to and possibly crossed the line into the illegal.”

“From helping Bill get drugs, to dealing with the consequences of sex with Russian girls, to facilitating his illegal encounters with married women, to asking him to supply Adderall for bridge tournaments, since I am a doctor but can’t write prescriptions,” the email continued.

The release of the document follows previous revelations by the DOJ in November and December 2025, when photos emerged showing Epstein with Gates and several other prominent figures.

Gates has previously admitted regret over his association with Epstein.

“In retrospect, it was foolish to spend time with him. And he kind of got to spend time with different people by spending time with other people,” Gates said in a January 2025 interview with The Wall Street Journal.

“So yeah, I guess I was pretty stupid. I thought it would help me with global health philanthropy. In fact, it didn’t, it was just a big mistake.”

Epstein was arrested in July 2019 on federal charges of sex trafficking of minors and died by apparent suicide a month later while awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.
