Bill Burr first signs Deal with Fox Entertainment

Bill Burr has signed a first-look deal with Fox Entertainment Studios via his banner North Hill Productions.
Through the partnership, Burr and his producing partner, co-founder of North Hill Mike Bertolina, will serve as executive producers and content originators for scripted and unwritten television. Fox gets the first DIBs about the projects.
Founded in 2024, the first project of North Hill Burr’s 2025 Hulu Comedy Special “Drop Dead Years”, for which Burr was nominated for two Emmy Awards. The production company also develops a half -hour comedy for FOX based on the life of the earthquake of cabaretic earthquakes.
The partnership marks a continuous investment in comedy programming of Fox Entertainment. In March, the network signed a multi-year agreement with Jamie Foxx for the first-look rights to script television material from Foxx’s Foxxhole Productions Banner, and exclusive rights to his projects and producing services in the unwritten space.
“Bill Burr is one of the most compassionate, most original voices in comedy, and collaborating with him and Mike Bertolina in North Hill is exactly the kind of movement that our studio defines,” said Hannah Pillemer, head of Scripted for Fox Entertainment Studios. “Fox has always been home for comedy that waves big, and with FES we double, defend makers with strong points of view that it does not play safely. When our logo touches the screen, regardless of the platform, we want the audience that instinctively thinks: daring, fresh and unknown fox.”
Burr and Bertolina are traced back by 3 arts entertainment, WME and Schreck Rose Dapello Adams Berlin & Dunham.
