‘Bergerac’, ‘Wolf Hall’, headline of Banijay’s Mipcom line-up

Banijay Entertainment offers an exclusive early look at the packed Mipcom line-up, featuring a host of crime dramas, historical epics, popular formats and non-fiction projects from Eva Longoria and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Scripted

“Bergerac”

Commissioned by U&Drama from UKTV and its free streaming platform U, this series reinterprets the 80s original, honoring it and adding a contemporary twist. Unlike the original series, this reboot features one character-led murder mystery spread across all six episodes. The series is produced by Banijay company BlackLight TV and written by Toby Whithouse (“The Red King”), along with Brian Fillis (“Trust”), Catherine Tregenna (“The One That Got Away”) and Polly Buckle (“Love Rat” ).

“Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light”

Season 2 of SAS Rogue Heroes

Written and created for television by Steven Knight (“Peaky Blinders”), the series is produced by Kudos and co-produced by MGM+ for BBC iPlayer and BBC One. Another feature documentary from Scenery, this time about Rodrigo Lara Bonilla, a Colombian lawyer and politician who was Minister of Justice and was murdered on the orders of Pablo Escobar.
