Becky Lynch about filming ‘Star Trek’, ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ and WWE Feuds

The man (finally) returned to WWE. After getting away for almost a year, Becky Lynch made her triumphant return to Wrestlemania, where she collaborated with colleague Irishwoman and Protégé, intercontinental champion Lyra Valkyria for ladies to conquer the WWE TAG championships.

“I took what I thought would be three months off in the summer, when my contract rose,” Lych says about her absence. “I had something like:” Okay, seems like a good time to take a small break, get some things done. ” Then other things came up – I was filming ‘Star Trek’, and then ‘Happy Gilmore’ [of a return] Around rumbling time, but at the last minute I got a skin condition. A week after Wrestlemania, Lynch went on “Monday night raw” to the ring and familiar Bayley, so that she could replace her as Valkyria’s Mania Tag Team partner. We were ambitious women who wanted to change the game, change how things were done and seen as the biggest stars in struggling, regardless of sex.”

Even in their early days at NXT, Lynch says that she had the feeling that Bayley did not have the same profit mentality as the other horse women. “That was most of our ambition. Bayley just wanted to like as much as possible. I beat her up in 2014 and people loved it. In 2019 she hit me in the back with a chair, and we have not been friendly since then. Since then we have not been in a certain way.”

“Twice I have been called to become a member of a War Games team where I had no business in, because people wanted me to treat Bayley and they knew I could,” Lynch adds. “Now everyone is so shocked that I have attacked the woman I have fought for years? In the beginning it seemed that Lynch’s plan went without problems: she successfully took Bayley out of action and replaced her as tag team partner of Lyra Valkyria, and tagt tagtitels from old rivals Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. Unfortunately for Lynch, Morgan and Rodriguez received a rematch on “Monday Night Raw” the next night, where Valkyria slid up, cost himself and the tag titles after less than 24 hours with the gold Lynch.

“Lyra can cancel all my work, loses the next day after I made her a double champion,” says Lynch. “What does someone expect from me? Of course I’m going to turn the lid around.”

Lynch is no stranger to what is needed to be a double champion: in 2019 she wrote history in the main event of Wrestlemania and the first woman to hold both the RAW and Smackdown women’s championships at the same time. As a perfectionist with a championship caliber family tree, Lynch Valkyria does not appreciate who ruined her triumphant return.

“I am the greatest female professional wrestler of all time, I am not alone,” Lynch creates. “There is documented evidence, Sports illustrated Turn off a list. Lyra was nowhere on that list. As for whether or not their relationship is reduced, Lynch says that the ball is at the court of Valkyria.

Regardless of what her relationship with Valkyria looks like after ‘Backlash’, Lynch is ready and willing to defend her title when she becomes the new intercontinental champion of women.

“That cast is insane,” she says. “The world in which I played was ridiculous and beautiful and incredibly fun. The time on that set was great, seeing Adam Sandler and how he behaves like such a star in that word, but also so friendly to everyone. Lynch is not the only professional wrestler in “Happy Gilmore 2.” All Elite Wrestling’s Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) also plays a role in the film.
