A new wave of flavor and fun is hitting the capital with the opening of Bayside Burger Co., the new waterfront hotspot bringing easy-going beach culture, retro vibes and seriously juicy burgers to Yas Bay.
Bayside, overlooking Yas Beach, is where everyday life becomes remarkable. With space for 81 guests (31 inside and 50 on the waterfront terrace), the venue combines vibrant, retro-inspired interiors with modern design and an airy atmosphere. Think sunny yellow accents, playful details, a neon glow and just the right amount of good chaos.
The menu features classics crafted with care. Burgers are served on house-made Hokkaido-style soft buns, baked fresh daily and filled with Wagyu beef patties that are broken, stacked and packed with flavor. The Classic Cheeseburger features wagyu, cheddar, burger sauce and sliced dill pickles for a nostalgic bite, while the Signature Smash brings together a double Wagyu patty smashed with thinly sliced caramelized onions, American cheddar and secret sauce. For something richer, the BBQ Bacon Jam burger combines double Wagyu with cheddar, smoky barbecue sauce, bacon jam and grilled bacon – a bold and satisfying combination that never disappoints.
Fries also get their own moment. The Big Kahuna Loaded Fries is a complete experience, layered with chopped Wagyu beef, cheese sauce, bacon, bacon jam, sour cream, pickled jalapeños and chives – a delicious, over-the-top dish designed for sharing, but loved by those who refuse to do so.
On the sweet side, Bayside offers soft serve cones, sundaes, classic milkshakes (served with extra on the side!), soda fountain drinks and slushies, available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.
Featuring frozen cocktails like the Mai Thai and Margarita and ice-cold beers – choose between draft, bottles and topless cans (a first in the city) – mixers, wine and bubbles, the menu offers easy options for young and old to enjoy.
“We wanted to create a place with a casual atmosphere where you can be comfortable coming straight from the beach or a show, have a juicy burger or a cool drink and end up staying much longer than you planned – it’s an experience,” says co-founder Peter Samaha.
“Bayside isn’t just about burgers; it’s about the spontaneous fun moments that make a day with friends and family unforgettable. Share a sundae, enjoy a round of draft beers before a show; no reservations are necessary or accepted. We’re excited to add something fresh, fun and unmistakable to the Yas Bay waterfront,” added co-founder Nadim Selbak.
Bayside also caters to families with a special children’s menu, offering little beachgoers a range of mini classics and easy favorites designed just for them.
Bayside Burger Co. Located right on the Yas Bay promenade, it channels a relaxed beach energy into one of Abu Dhabi’s most vibrant destinations. It’s the place for salty hair, sandy feet and spontaneous stops, whether you’re grabbing a soft serve after the beach, diving into messy burgers with friends, or cooling off with a slushy as the sun melts over Yas Beach.
