‘Baylen Out Loud’ star Bechnir Dupree is not missing despite rumors, says mom

Here’s the deal… there’s a digital flyer going around claiming the 10-year-old has been missing since Saturday and at the bottom is a phone number listed for people with information to call.

We contacted the Dupree family… Baylen and Bechnir’s mother, Juliatells us Bechnir is home safe and sound. The message is fake and has no connection with the family.

Closer inspection of the post reveals another notable notice that this isn’t real… the phone number at the bottom, which is intended for the “Virginia Police Department”, is instead connected to a police department in Washington State. The Dupree family lives in a small town in West Virginia.

Bechnir’s appeared in multiple episodes of “Baylen Out Loud” – a show that chronicles his sister’s life as she navigates life with Tourette’s syndrome. In one memorable episode, Baylen and her fiancé Colin Dooley hosted Bechnir at their home for a sleepover… during which Bechnir spoke to Baylen about his fear.
