Bam Margera says no to ‘Jackass’ Reunion: ‘Damage has been done’

Bam Margera promotes his first project in some years with his recording as the “secret skater” in the remake “Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4”. But the Stuntman and Skateboarder still exclude a return to his “Jackass” origin

“What they did to me, went to the treatment and pay for it, and then not put me in a movie, and you know, I had to go to court,” Margera said in one Cinemablend Interview when asked about the prospect of a reunion. “You could not offer me enough money to want to do a ‘jackass’ with them. The damage has been caused.”

Margera sued Paramount, “Jackass” leader Johnny Knoxville and director Spike Jonze in 2021, claiming that he was wrongly dismissed from the series Revival function “Jackass Forever”. Margera, who served as a main cast member of the original “Jackass” TV series on MTV and three following functions, is said to have been tested positively on Adderall during production, whereby the conditions of a “wellness agreement” were signed that he signed with producers. The lawsuit claimed that Margera was “forced” to sign the agreement and that he had taken Adderall as a recipe for ten years. A settlement was reached in 2022.

“I don’t want to go through public with BAM,” Knoxville told GQ After Margera left the film. “I just want him to get better.”

Speaking with Cinemablend, Margera also excluded the prospect to breathe new life into his MTV reality series ‘Viva La Bam’, who followed him and his family, together with his skateboarding escapades.

“I just have the feeling that that kind of show has its run,” said Margera. “Living with my parents, and painting the entire kitchen blue, and let my mother get into panic-to end something like that, and then your life continues. You get your own house, with your own wife and you have a child. … I should go back with my parents and again brass after giving a 15-year-old break. It would just be strange.”

“Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4” is now available for buying on all major game consoles and PC.
