AWS enters into ‘strategic partnership’ with Saudi Arabia-backed Humain

Amazon out It will work with Humain, the AI company that was recently launched by the ruler of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, to invest “$ 5 billion-plus” in a strategic partnership to build an “AI zone” in Saudi Arabia.
The AI zone includes Dedicated Amazon Web Services (AWS) AI infrastructure, servers, networks and training and certification programs, according to a press release. Humain promises to develop AI solutions with the help of AWS technologies and to collaborate with AWS on access to tools and programs for AI startups in Saudi Arabia.
AWS joins Tech Giants Nvidia, AMD and others in collaboration with Humain, which is funded by Saudi -Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). American technology companies have considered the PIF as a source of capital. Companies such as Google and Salesforce Have also recently worked with the PIF on AI-related projects and investments.
President Donald Trump and various allies of the technical industry attended a US-Saudi Investment Forum on Tuesday. Under one New Trump Administration InitiativeTechnical suppliers established in the US, including the aforementioned Nvidia and AMD, have allowed to arrange deals with Saudi Arab companies.
Saudi -Arabia has AI companies and services in the Kingdom Store -data locally mandatory, which means that suppliers have to place facilities there to prevent contracts from losing. Both Google and Oracle have announced expansion plans in the region in the past year.
