Authorities in New Mexico ‘Looking to Reopen’ Epstein’s Ranch Investigation

New Mexico authorities ‘look to reopen investigation into disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein’s ranch’ RadarOnline.com can reveal.

Although the ranch has come under much less scrutiny than its infamous “Epstein Island,” better known as Little Saint James, a tip about dead bodies buried on site has attracted attention.

The New York Times reported that Epstein’s home, Zorro Ranch, was purchased in 1993 from former New Mexico Governor Bruce King. The pedophile was reportedly drawn to the area due to lax offender registry laws and the feeling of being ‘off the grid’.

In 2019, the year Epstein committed suicide, a tip was sent to the FBI claiming they had been working at the ranch and that the bodies of two girls Epstein had abused were buried in the hills outside the house.

The ranch house was searched in 2019, but it is unknown whether the FBI specifically looked into the tip or not. State leaders have now decided to further investigate what may have happened in the house.

Andrea Romero, a state representative from New Mexico, shared this The New York Times they “need to figure out how he could operate without any responsibility.”

She also stressed that it is imperative to understand “what allowed this to happen.”

The new owner of the property is Texas Senator Don Huffines, who has agreed to cooperate with the investigation; However, he has yet to be contacted.

Huffines explained on social media on February 16 that the property would be auctioned four years after Epstein’s death, with proceeds from the sale benefiting the victims.

“What ever the enemy meant for evil, God can redeem for good,” he said. “That’s why we renamed the property San Rafael, after the saint associated with physical and spiritual healing, and immediately began plans to convert it into a Christian sanctuary, reclaiming it for Jesus.

“Even the new entrance will reflect the mission and will read, ‘Blessed are those who come in the name of the Lord.’”

Huffines added that his family’s ownership became public in 2024 and was posted on social media.

While he claimed that they have “always maintained an open line of communication with local authorities,” he confirmed that he has not been contacted by any “law enforcement agency” to “request access.”

“And I have always been unequivocal that any such request would be granted immediate access and full cooperation,” he continued. “This is what desperate political opponents do: lies and tricks at the last minute.”

Although the Epstein case has attracted public interest for years, it has gained momentum since Donald Trump returned to power on his promise to release the Epstein files.

Although many files have appeared, there has been significant controversy over redactions and alleged missing files.

Although many have pointed the finger at Trump and insisted that he knew of and/or participated in Epstein’s crimes, he has maintained his innocence and has not been proven guilty of any crimes.
