Aubrey Plaza And her deceased husband Jeff Baena Were separated a few months before he took his own life … TMZ learned.
The marital problems of Aubrey and Jeff are unveiled in the report of the medical researcher … In the documents obtained by TMZ, the ME remarks Jeff was separated from his wife since September 2024.
The ME says that Jeff’s way of death is suicide … that is in line with what we were originally told by our law enforcement sources.
TMZ broke the story … Aubrey’s husband was found dead In his house in Los Angeles in January.
The summary of the ME’s Death Investigation says that Jeff’s dog Walker found him dead in his house and the police called.
Officers say that the dog Walker told them that she came to his house on January 3 at her normal time to walk his dog, and she heard loud music coming out of the house, which was unusual. She says she has unlocked the front door to find his body.
Police officers say they said that Jeff had been separated from Aubrey since September 2024 when she moved to New York … and officers brands that they were told that Jeff had a telephone conversation with Aubrey the night before he was found dead.
The police say they spoke with Aubrey on the phone after he was found dead and she confirmed their divorce. Officers also say that Aubrey told them that Jeff made in October 2024 about comments that led her to call a friend to perform a welfare check on her husband.

Cops say that Aubrey told them that Jeff attended since the supposed incident in October and she claimed that he had no previous suicide attempts.

The documents say that no illegal drugs or alcohol were found on site or in the Jeff system and no suicide note was found.
