Aubrey O’Day Hospitalized, Misses Second Danity Kane Reunion Show

Aubrey O’Day said she had to miss the second stop on Danity Kane’s comeback tour after being taken to the hospital.
“My loved ones… I am so sorry. I have become extremely ill and cannot physically attend tonight’s show as I am in the ER,” O’Day, 41, wrote via her Instagram stories on Wednesday, December 10, in reference to the band’s scheduled performance at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles.
O’Day continued, “I’ve been fighting it all day, spinning around in my head trying to find a way to make this work, but being sick is being sick – it’s completely out of my control.”
“My heart is broken because I never want to let you down,” O’Day added.
“I know the girls will give you an incredible performance tonight, and I promise I’ll be back with you as soon as my body allows,” she concluded.

The former five-piece girl band recently reunited as a trio, performing their first show in years together on Tuesday, December 9, at San Francisco’s August Hall, where O’Day, Fimbres and Woods performed songs like “Damaged,” “Show Stopper” and “Heartbreaker.”
The group announced their comeback tour via Instagram in October, although an air of mystery remained about who would complete the lineup until Tuesday’s show.

“The world has heard the music. The world has seen the headlines. But the truth… has never been told,” said an October Instagram post on the band’s account.
“Now, in a moment no one saw coming, three voices from one of the most iconic girl groups of the 21st century are stepping back on stage together. Which three? That’s the mystery. And it’s part of the fire that has fans and critics buzzing: who will it be, and what will they reveal?” the message continued.
“The Untold Chapter tour is not just any concert. It’s a settlement. It’s the truth behind the story. It’s the reunion that no one thought possible,” the post added. “With reformed setlists, revealed confessions and moments that will never happen the same way twice, this tour promises to leave audiences shocked, inspired and forever changed.”
Danity Kane was originally founded by a disgraced music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs on MTVs Making the tape 3. They were joined by O’Day, Fimbres and Woods Dawn Richard And Shannon Bex in the original setup.
Danity Kane enjoyed huge chart success, with two No. 1 albums on the chart Billboard 200 albums chart.
O’Day recently appeared in 50 Cent‘s Diddy documentary on Netflix, in which she addresses another woman’s claims that she was sexually assaulted by Diddy.
In the document, the singer reads an affidavit from a woman who claimed to have witnessed Diddy and another man being assaulted in 2005. (Diddy has denied all allegations against him.)
“Even after I told her I had no memory of this, I said, ‘Could she be making a mistake?’ I asked in every way I could think of: [and] She was sure,” O’Day said in the doctor’s office. ‘Does this mean I was raped? Is that what this means? I don’t even know if I was raped, and I don’t want to know. I don’t want to hear what that woman has to say anymore.”
