Apple Intelligence will support more languages from April
Apple’s AI Suite, Apple Intelligence, will soon be available in French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and simplified Chinese, along with localized English versions for India and Singapore.
During the quarterly results of the company Q4 2024 on Thursday, CEO Tim Cook said that the company will roll out support for these extra languages in April.
Last year the first release of Apple Intelligence only supported US English. Later, in December, when the company released the iOS 18.2 update, it included support for English in the Australian, Canadian, New -Zeelandse, South African and British localizations. The company has not revealed any plans to roll out its AI -suite in the EU and mainland China.
Cook also noted that the new version of Siri, who understands context on the screen, will be “in the coming months”.
