Anna reportedly shared a room aboard Carnival’s Horizon with her stepsister and her brother, and her ex told Inside Edition that her brother reportedly heard a violent argument in their room between them before her death.

The cheerleader’s body was found in the cabin on November 8, reportedly wrapped in a blanket and shoved under a bed. Her cause of death, according to a document obtained by ABC News, was asphyxiation caused by a bar hold, which meant someone had their arm around her neck.

It is not believed she was sexually assaulted. The investigation remains active.
