Angelina Jolie Accuses Brad Pitt of Making an $8 Million Threat Over NDA

Pitt filed his case in February 2022, arguing that Jolie was bound by an alleged agreement they entered into to “hold their interests in Miraval together or sell them separately only with the consent of the other” and that they were “wrongfully was enriched by the unlawful sale of its interest”.

He said they bought Miraval while they were still together, with the intention of passing it on to their children, and that he had put a significant amount of time and effort into turning it into a successful business. Jolie informed him that she no longer wanted to be involved with the project in 2021, according to his lawsuit.

Jolie has alleged that Pitt made “relentless attempts to control and financially drain her” while trying to hide his alleged violent behavior.

Her attorneys wrote in an earlier filing: “While Pitt’s history of physical abuse of Jolie began long before the family’s September action. Airplane trip 2016 from France to Los Angeles, this flight was the first time he also directed his physical abuse at the children. Jolie then immediately left him.”

The couple divorced just two years later tied the knot on the picturesque estate in Miraval.
