Andrew Windsor ‘could flee Britain any day’ as police launch new investigation

Although Andrew has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing related to Epstein, he has not publicly discussed the latest claims.

A source described the former duke as ‘saddened but defiant’, adding: ‘He sees this as a campaign to humiliate him further. But the reality is that the pressure has never been greater – the scrutiny, the press, everything – and he has been advised to keep a very low profile. There is real talk that he could leave within days for a quieter overseas location, and probably the Middle East, to escape the prospect of being questioned by police.”

The latest Epstein document dump reveals exchanges between Windsor and Epstein at a time when the serial killer was already a convicted offender.

In February 2011, Andrew wrote to Epstein after a visit to a private equity firm, saying he had “been thinking about you”, referring to Epstein’s search for new investment vehicles.

Former business secretary Vince Cable, who oversaw trade policy at the time, said: “I was not aware of Andrew… previously sharing information about investment opportunities (in Afghanistan) – this is the first I’ve heard of it.”
