Andrew Windsor accused of using his daughters as ‘palace spies’

A source said: ‘What should have been a final withdrawal from royal life is now being interpreted as a carefully choreographed return in a different way. Despite losing his titles, Andrew continues to act as if he is out of consequence, repeatedly reminding those around him that he is the son of a king. In his own mind, very little has fundamentally changed.”
That attitude has increased fears for the Welsh.
Andrew’s former wife, Sarah Ferguson, 66, who was also stripped of her duchess title last year after revelations about her past correspondence with Epstein, is said to be close supporter of her ex-husband.
An insider commented: ‘Sarah has remained a constant presence for Andrew throughout his isolation. Whatever public perception, their bond has endured well beyond their marriage and shows no signs of rupturing.”
However, that loyalty has only increased the frustration within Kensington Palace.
“Kate is determined that his continued presence will not be distracted from the path she is charting for the future of the monarchy,” the source said.
