Amy Schumer and husband Chris Fischer split after seven years of marriage

In recent months, Schumer’s shocking weight loss has fueled divorce speculation.

At the beginning of December the Train wreck actress posted a series of photos in which she posed in a beige Valentino mini dress with a noticeably thinner figure.

After she posted the photos, a source said they have been close to the actress for years Radar: “She’s getting divorced, period.

“She said, ‘I have a new body and I finally feel like myself again.’ From what she shared, she is preparing for a date. That’s why people around her call it a divorce body.”

The insider, who claims Schumer spent months expressing doubts about her relationship with her inner circle, added: “The weight loss is part of taking control. She just said, ‘I’m not hiding anymore.'”

A second friend, who described Schumer as “torn but determined,” said she had confided about her relationship problems.

“She thinks she and Chris are different people now and she means it,” they claimed. “She is focused on her work and feeling strong – emotionally and physically.”
