American Society of Cinematographers Full winners List 2025

Edward Lachman achieved the highest honor during the 39th annual American Society of Cinematographers Awards for his work about ‘Maria’.
This was the first ASC victory of Lachman.
In a competitive year, the ASC nominated seven cinematographers in the feature film category. The last time the field extended to more than five was in 2014. The other nominees are fun Crawley for ‘The Brutalist,’ Phedon Papamichael for ‘A Complete Unknown’, Stéphane Fontaine for ‘Conclave’, Gray Fraser for ‘Dune: Part 2 ‘, for’ Dune: Part 2 ‘, for’ Dune: Part 2 ‘, Jarin Blaschke for “Nosferatu” and Alice Brooks for “Wicked.”
In his 38-year history, only 18 won Oscar. Last year Hoyte Van Hoytema won the ASC for “Oppenheimer” and won the Oscar.
In TV, winners were Robert Elswit for ‘Ripley’. Elswit won the creative art Emmy last year. Creeks with Variety For within the frame, Elswit spoke about photographing the Black -and White Limited series. He said: ‘Lights was important. It had to reflect who Tom was and the world he lived, which contrasted very much. The black and white aesthetics would give the audience a sense of fear, tension and mystery.
Richard Rutkowski won in the category of half an hour for “Sugar”, and in the episode of a regular series of hour, Sam McCurdy, took the prize for “Shogun-Crimson Sky” home.
Kathleen Kennedy, producer of films such as “Back to the Future”, “Jurassic Park” and “Et the Extra-Terrestrial” was presented with the Board of Governors Award. Kennedy honored the cinematographers in the room and said: ‘As you honor me, I really want to honor you for making magical new films. One of the most critical choices for a producer is to put together the right team and the talent that brings the script to life. “She added:” It’s not about bloody technology, it’s about the person behind it. ”
Kennedy also announced that there were 46 new female members who had joined the ASC.
The Lifetime Achievement Award was awarded to cinematographer Andrzej Bartkowiak (“Speed”, “Falling Down”).
The ASC Awards ceremony handed out its prizes on Sunday evening in the Beverly Hilton.
