Amazon Alexa+ can read, summarize and recall lengthy documents

During the annual Devices & Services event of Amazon on Wednesday, the company Alexa+introduced an improved version of his voting assistant, now driven by Generative AI.
During the demonstration, Amazon showed how users can share documents with Alexa+, so that it can evoke important details and answer questions about those documents.
Mara Segal, director of Alexa, gave several examples of how this position works. In one case she asked Alexa+: “From grandma’s courgette bread recipe, how much oil did it need?” Alexa+ was able to extract the answer from the recipe that had previously been uploaded.
In a more complex scenario, a user can upload a document from his homeowners association (HOA) and ask questions about the guidelines that many people overlook.
In addition, users can send multiple e -mails from the school from a child to Alexa+, extracting and summarizing the essential information. It can also help to manage their agendas to ensure that they do not miss important school events.
Amazon demonstrated various Alexa+ functions at the event, including the possibility of jumping to different film scenes on Prime Video and Smart Home devices, allowing users to move music between speakers in different rooms.
