Amanda Bynes looks unrecognizable in new photo after cosmetic work

Bynes has led a rollercoaster life since she announced her retirement from acting in 2010.

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it seems. When I stop loving something, I quit. I don’t love acting anymore, so I quit. I know 24 is a young age to retire, but you heard it here first,” she told stunned fans.

Bynes was placed under guardianship in 2013 after being placed in a psychiatric facility following a series of disturbing incidents.

The following year, the former Nickelodeon star revealed that she had been diagnosed with bipolar and manic-depressive disorder, but was doing “fine” after working with a psychiatrist.

A judge ended the conservatorship in 2022 after almost nine years.

Bynes has tried several career paths as an adult.

She graduated from the Los Angeles Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2019. In 2022, Bynes told fans that she was enrolling in cosmetology school to become a manicurist.

The What a girl wants star revealed in 2024 that she had not yet passed her state exams, but planned to retake them after returning to school to study manicure theory and work on her acrylic skills in the hopes of one day getting a job at a nail salon.
