Amadeus introduces AI conversation automation tool SkyLink | News

Amadeus has acquired SkyLink, an AI-first technology company headquartered in New York.
Founded to improve the corporate travel experience, SkyLink has built a proprietary AI architecture and multi-layer orchestration engine designed to easily and seamlessly integrate into chat platforms.
This allows travelers to seamlessly book and book flights and hotels in seconds, while businesses can enjoy significant cost savings and productivity gains as their employees free up time for higher-value work.
Against a backdrop shifting from proof-of-concepts to AI adoption, this acquisition further supports Amadeus’ strategy to deploy AI use cases that deliver meaningful value in the travel industry, based on scalability and operational reality, building on Amadeus’ long-standing application of AI to optimize travel operations.
SkyLink’s AI-native framework complements Amadeus’ global scale, strong technology, suite of APIs and deep industry expertise.
Amadeus scale operates in more than 190 markets and processes billions of searches and millions of travel transactions every day. Amadeus’ scale enables AI to be applied reliably and widely, supporting more relevant and efficient interactions with travelers.
An immediate tangible benefit of this deal for the traveler is SkyLink’s additional technology to support the changing needs of the TMC world.
This will enhance and expand Amadeus’ business travel solution capabilities, and in particular expand Amadeus’ existing strong customer base in North America.
“By combining our AI-native technology with the scale and industrial reach of Amadeus, we can accelerate our technology deployment and deliver powerful new capabilities that will benefit travelers and businesses across the travel industry. It is a pivotal time to deliver concrete AI solutions and now with Amadeus we can accelerate the next phase of travel innovation,” said Atyab Bhatti, co-founder of SkyLink.
