The 77th Emmy Awards have officially started and the biggest stars of the TV end the red carpet for the ceremony.

Apple TV+’s Sci-Fi thriller “Severance” leads all programs with 27 nominations. HBO Max’s Batman Spin -Off “The Penguin” follows close by 24. Apple’s industrial satire “The Studio” with 23 is in third place.

If “Severance” and “The Studio” win for the best drama and comedy, Apple would be the first network that wins in both top categories, because HBO did it in 2016 with “Game of Thrones” and “Veg”.

Industrial projections have “the studio” that leads the peloton with 12 wins. “Severance” and “The Penguin” must be the second with nine each. Netflix’s “adolescence” wants to take eight statuettes home, while NBC’s “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” looks at five victories.

Celebrities on tonight’s red carpet are Walton Goggins, Jennifer Coolidge, Megan Stalter, Ben Stiller and more.
