All famous host stars in the Netflix show of Lena Dunham

With “Too Much”, “Girls” Maker star Lena Dunham has made her long-awaited return to television, and the ensemble she brought with her is, well, too much.
The series plays viral comedian and “hacks” breakout Megan Stalter and “White Lotus” season 2 -star Will Sharpe as the central couple: Jessica, who moves to London for a job to blow up her love life in New York, and Felix, the musician and the recovery of addicts she meets and starts to fall on the first night in the city. During the series, the two are wandering in and out of chaotic situations with Jessica’s colleagues, Felix’s exes and friends, and both families – make room for many unexpected host stars.

Lena Dunham as Nora South

Instead of playing the management, as she did in ‘Girls’, Dunham takes a backseat in the cast ‘Too much’. She plays Nora, Jessica’s older sister, who has difficulty raising her mind after her recent divorce, especially when it comes to sharing her son, Dash (Oliver Nirenberg) with her ex-husband.

Andrew Rannells like Jameson South

Rannells, an old employee of Dunham’s who played Elia in ‘Girls’, stars like Jameson, who ended his testy, sexless marriage to Nora to participate in a polyamorous relationship with a man and a woman who called both Cody. Just like Jessica, Jameson works in advertising and remains a mentor for her despite his sister’s divorce. He is the one who gives her the chance to move to London and get her life back on track.

Wendy is the new girlfriend of Zev, who obsesses Jessica in video messages that she places on a private Instagram account that nobody follows. Deep inside, Jessica knows that it is ZEV, not Wendy, with whom she should have a problem, but the happy life that Wendy seems to live on social media at ZEV.

The two date a few years, but he broke her heart for months before “too much” starts. In the first episode, Jessica sees on Instagram that he presented his new girlfriend, Wendy. Drunk, she breaks into their apartment in the middle of the night and gets a screaming game with Zev and asks him to admit that leaving her “the worst thing is that someone has ever done.”

The family is close, but Jessica and Nora have become too dependent on their mother, both move with her after their respective disintegration. Janicza Bravo is best known as the director and co-writer of 2021’s “Zola”, but has previously acted in Dunham’s HBO series “Camping” 2018 and her film “Sharp Stick” from 2022. In “Too Much” she plays Kim, the other American at the advertising agency. She is competent, cool and evenly and even when it comes to her crush on Josie.
Bravo also directed episode 8 of “Too Much”, entitled “One Wedding and a Sex Pest.”

Leo Reich, a popular British comedian who makes his acting debut in “Too Much”, Boss, the resident of the advertising agency Gen Z Staffer. Although he is technically the assistant of Kim, he regards himself as a fully -fledged creative and has little respect for the “fitting” office behavior, where he regularly rule everyone with stories from his sex life and the parties that he goes.

Jim is tortured and cynical; When he and Jessica go out for a drink, he spends the night about his ex-wife and a fight with letterbox users who don’t like his films. So it is no surprise that the night goes in a strange direction.

She is glamorous and eccentric, but the two do not connect and she realizes that his heart is elsewhere before he even tells her that he met Jessica. “You are a nice guy, okay?” She says while they separate. “But the next time you go out with someone and you realize that they are not for you, you don’t pretend and slowly leave the house because I could feel you.”

“Blue is The Warmest Color” star Adèle Exarchopoulos plays Polly, with whom Felix came out for 10 years and remains friends. She is first mentioned when Jessica Felix asks about the tattoo of her name he has on his ass, and he only says she is a friend – who also tattooed his name on her ass. When Jessica meets Polly for the first time, she is so intimidated that she does a huge dose of ketamine in the hope of fit. It eventually dives into a painful spiral of remembering her past with ZEV.

A productive Japanese actor who is best known for ‘memoirs of a geisha’, Kaori Momoi guest stars such as Aiko, the mother of Felix. She is loving, but a bit delusion and tells Felix that his father is her “knight in shiny armor” and convinced that he will get them out of the financial crisis in which they have long been. Felix knows better.

Felix’s father, Simon, likes to play the role of generous patriarch, but in reality he is struggling to take care of Aiko and their adult daughter who lives with them. He asks Felix for help to get out of his crushing debts – let alone that Felix is also brutal. Felix sells his car and gives Simon the money in secret. The act of generosity is complicated and painful for Felix, who still houses some resentment towards his parents for their constant absence during his youth: a flashback reveals that he was sexually abused by his babysitter.
