After India, OpenAI launches its affordable ChatGPT Go plan in Indonesia

OpenAI is expanding its budget-friendly Chatgpt subscription plan further than India. The company launched its sub- $ 5 chatgpt go plan for the users of the country last month and is now rolling the same plan in Indonesia for RP75,000 ($ 4.50) per month.

Users receive 10 times higher usage limits than the free plan for sending questions or prompts, generating images and uploading files. The plan also enables Chatgpt to better remember previous conversations, making more personalized answers possible over time, Chatgpt -Head Nick Turley said On X.
Turley said that since the company the Chatgpt Go plan in India launched, paid subscribers have more than doubled.
OpenAi is taking this step in direct competition with Google, which launched its own AI Plus subscription plan priced in the same way Earlier this month in Indonesia. The AI Plus plan of Google gives users access to the Gemini 2.5 Pro Chatbot, together with creative tools for image and video creation such as Flow, Whisk and VEO 3 Snel. The plan also contains improved functions for Google’s AI Research Assistant NotebookLM and integrates AI options in Gmail, Docs and Sheets, together with 200 GB of cloud storage.
