‘Adolescence’ leads with three wins

“Adolescence” was the big winner at the Gotham Television Awards, where he took three prizes on Monday evening, including Breakthrough Limited Series.

‘The studio’ by Seth Rogen won Breakthrough Comedy series and “The Pitt” won the best drama.

The actors, directors, writers and producers received during the ceremony, organized in Cipriani Wall Street in New York, emphasized the need to preserve and protect the entertainment industry in the midst of geopolitical struggle and AI anxes.

“We love this company,” said Amy Sherman-Palladino and accepted the tribute to the maker next to her husband Daniel Palladino. “God please help everyone. Let’s let it survive.”

“Let’s keep the art alive!” An enthusiastic Parker Posey shouted. “Let’s turn this company into entertainment that everyone can love. Those old people and young people and even babies laugh about!”

Posey, who was honored with the legend-everyone, was introduced by her “White Lotus” co-star Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell, who enjoyed her character, Victoria Ratliff with a few ground sentences. “Tsunami! Piper, no! Buddhism!” Rockwell and Bibb said in that exaggerated southern drawl.

“Thank you Mike White for writing this character for me, for believing in a middle -aged woman and believing in a legend,” said Posey, solving a big smile of the audience. “Thank you HBO for believing in a legend!”

Brian Tyree Henry also played the crowd by involving the interpreter of the drawing language in his speech in accepting the tribute of the contractor.

“I now want to apologize to the sign to Tolk, because I will say many things that I just want to see signing,” Henry said. “Such as ‘pussybow’, ‘skims’ and ‘circumcision’.”

As usual, Sheryl Lee Ralph brought the house with an emotional speech in honor of Sidney Poitier. The “Abbott Elementary” Emmy winner remembered that he was directed by Poitier in her first film, “a piece of the action”.

“Mr Poitier looked at me and said,” Sheryl Lee Ralph, I expect great things from you … I’m sorry that the industry no longer has to offer you because you deserve it. ” He planted a seed in me that represented the great opportunity, “said Ralph.” I kept sharpening my craft. I kept going. And I wish he was here tonight to see the seed that he was planting in me and how it has grown. “

Ralph fought against tears and added: “I worked, I endured, I conquered and I never gave it up,” she said. “I kept going because Sidney Poitier believed in me.”
