ABC -affiliates told Kimmel that ended at least Thursday

ABC branches were informed at the end of Wednesday that “Jimmy Kimmel Live” will be dark on the network at least until Thursday, with future plans for the end of 11:35 pm still indefinite.
A memo sent to the owners of ABCs more than 150 affiliated station partners spoke the explosive situation in that Wednesday afternoon erupted when powerful Station group Nexstar announced that it would occur in Kimmel’s show in the 32 ABC -Laertied stations of the company. Sinclair Broadcast Group also quickly confirmed its plans to prevent Kimmel about the comments of the hosts related to the Maga movement and the activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot during a public -speaking event on 10 September.
In a memo of the ABCaffiliate Board, a long -standing group that maintains contact with the network on behalf of station owners, ABC branches were informed that the network would program repeated episodes of “Celebrity Family Feud” in the 11:35 pm -hour -o’clock rot by Kimmel on Wednesday and Thursday. Furthermore, “formal guidance from Disney/ABC appears”, says the memo. The memo noted that the connected board “remains involved with ABC” over the Roiling -controoverse.
A source close to the situation states that the network has not yet made a formal decision about the future of Kimmel’s show. Managers were in a direct conversation with the host and his representatives on Wednesday evening when the news broke out and a series of reactions from left and right came in quickly and furiously.
