‘A Useful Ghost’, ‘Crossroads Springs’ on new EO Media Sales Slate

Adding another wrinkle to an already eclectic list that focuses on market segments that are still in demand, Ezequiel Olzanski has added 20 new titles to EO Media’s sales slate for Content Americas 2026, building heavily on EO’s long-standing alliances with US company Nicely Entertainment and Miami-based Gluon Media.
Potential highlights among the new additions include Stillz’s coming-of-age found-footage story “Barrio Triste,” produced by Harmony Korine, “A Useful Ghost,” a deadpan Thai fantasy genre mash-up that won the Cannes Critics’ Week 2025 Grand Prix, and Cannes Midnight’s tone-changing French comedy “Bloody Oranges,” all acquired from Gluon.
Also in the new title mix are the faith-based family drama series ‘Crossroad Springs’, the romcom ‘Love at Lookout Lake’ and Ate de Jong’s showbiz exposé ‘Country Heart’, co-written by former Variety Vice President Steven Gaydos.
Additional new titles include a series of feel-good romantic holiday films from Nicely Entertainment, such as ‘A Cherry Pie Christmas’, ‘The Christmas Ticket’, ‘Exes of Christmas Past’, ‘The Spirit of Christmas Station’, ‘Christmas In The Ballroom’, ‘Once Upon a Christmas Crown’, ‘Christmas at Fields Ranch’ and ‘A Scottish Christmas Secret’.
These new films and shows join a sales slate that includes a strong Hollywood cast – Olzanski controls Jon Hamm, Nicole Kidman, Brian Cranston, Kevin Hart, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Diane Keaton, Al Pacino and Ryan Reynolds – and action heroes Jason Statham, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren and Steven Segal.
In total, EO Media’s library boasts 250 films and series, more than 150 of which are dubbed in Spanish and available for streaming services, cable and free-to-air TV channels and other windows, including flight rights, Olzanski added.

EO Media co-produced the Amazon Studios series ‘El Presidente’, a show run by Academy Award winner Armando Bo, Flow’s ‘Cris Miró (Ella)’ and the new Star+ Original bio-series ‘Ringo: Glory & Death’, about the legendary life of Argentine boxer Oscar ‘Ringo’ Bonavena, who went almost the distance with Muhammad Ali in 1970 and brought some back with him Variety described as a “marauding, tough as a ship deck style” for the ring.
EO Media announced “Punta Blanca” in May 2024, a murder mystery produced with Uruguay-based El Camino Films (“Blindness”) and starring Natalia Oreiro (“Iosi, the Regretful Spy”). EO Media now has undisclosed co-production projects in development for Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Spain, Britain and the U.S., Olzanski said.
“At an undeniably turbulent time for the industry, we have leveraged our energy, experience, know-how and strong international relationships built over the years to bring Content Americas as our first market of 2026, a series of new titles and strong projects about the works, with the confidence that the best content and creative talents will find their way to international screens and audiences,” said Olzanski.
He added: “We love our industry and it is our clear goal and intention to be an active player in rebuilding a damaged but still vibrant industry, and work towards creating a new model for the industry towards stronger times ahead.”
