A look inside Hollywood’s most secretive wedding

Since Grace’s birth, both actors have spoken about the practicalities of balancing blockbusters, stage work and parenthood.
Weisz has described a system of alternating professional commitments to ensure one of them is always home, saying: “I think we really like our private lives as one, as a family, and then we go to work separately. We’ve really enjoyed that experience. It also means we can alternate. I can stay home with the family while he works. We can swap. If we’re both doing something at the same time, it’s probably less ideal.”
Craig has echoed that sentiment, noting that having a young child has made him less willing to spend long stretches away from home. Yet their careers continue to intersect at important cultural moments.
The pair appeared together on the red carpet from Madrid The girl with the dragon tattoo in 2012 to the 2022 BFI London Film Festival, where they supported Craig’s film Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
At the 2024 Venice Film Festival, where Craig premiered Foreignattention fell as much on the couple’s appearance together as on the film itself, with Weisz in a glittering Versace dress. Behind the scenes, Weisz says they remain closely involved in each other’s work.
In 2018, she explained: “We talk about movies we love, or that we’re playing. We like to go to the theater and discuss things we’ve seen. We respect each other. We appreciate each other’s work.”
If Vladimir brings Weisz back to the center of the cultural conversation, where mutual admiration seems to be the foundation for a marriage that has survived and thrived, far from the usual Hollywood gloss.
