‘A Court of Thorns And Roses’ TV series Death at Hulu
Hulu’s TV -adaptation of Sarah J. Maas’s Wild Popular Romantasy book series “A Court of Thorns And Roses” is officially deleted.
Produced by Disney’s 20th Television, the project has been in the development phase of Hulu (also a Disney building) since March 2021. Ronald D. Moore.
Since then, not many updates have been given in the show, with both the writers and the actors strikes of the summer 2023 having a break for almost all script production and development.
Last February, TVLINE Reported that the TV series ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ was no longer in development at Hulu and that it was not shopping to other platforms either. At that time, sources told Variety The show was still technically in the making, but no longer in active development and the 20th television of Disney had the rights to the late summer of 2025.
Maas wants to take the TV adjustment rights for “Acotar” to another studio and platform once the option has expired at Disney, sources close to the Tell project Variety.

The first episode of the new series ‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’, which runs around 19-year-old Huntress Feyre Archeron, was published in May 2015. After killing a Wolf Faerie in the forest, she is dragged to the magic country of Prythian by Tamlin, who serves as one of the seven high gentlemen of Prythian. While he spends time with Tamlin on his legacy in the Spring Court, Feyre is slowly coming to learn that everything she has learned about the WORLD Faerie is a lie.
After the success of the first novel, Maas brought four continues from the title ‘A Court of Mist and Fury’, ‘A Court of Wings and Ruin’, ‘A Court of Frost and Starlight’ and ‘A Court of Silver Flames’. A sixth book in the series is planned without release date from now on.
