Joe Jonas Claims Hollywood A-Lister ‘Hosted’ Him for a Year
Joe Jonas has accused a Hollywood A-lister of leaving him on read.
RadarOnline.com can reveal that Oscar-tipped Jonas Brothers singer Timothée Chalamet ignored his text messages for a year.
Jonas, 35, pulled out receipts to call out Chalamet, 28, in a TikTok video.
The DNCE singer clearly had fun trolling the actor when he shared the video to his 6.4 million TikTok followers on Monday, December 2.
In just 24 hours, the video has already been viewed more than 1.2 million times.
He captioned the post: “Come back with y’all in December for an update.”
His video contained two images, which were paired with Ole 60’s Thoughts of you.
His video included a screenshot of his message to Chalamet, whose phone number was blocked for privacy reasons, but his “TC” contact initials were visible.
He sent a message saying ‘I miss you’ to the Little women star, along with a selfie.
Jonas wrote about the first image: “Last December I texted Timothee Chalamet from my friend’s phone, waiting for a response.”
A second photo showed a selfie of Jonas with the caption: “In December he still hasn’t returned. Hope this helps!”
A TikTok user commented on Jonas’ video, “He’s just thinking about a good reaction, it will come soon enough,” prompting the singer to respond, “Good things can wait.”
A second wrote: “A Christmas miracle could happen, you never know,” while a third joined in the joke, saying: “I totally understand how you feel Joe. I’m also waiting for a response from the Timothee Chalamet .”
One clever follower took the opportunity to round up the joke for Jonas and quoted his own lyrics Velvet sunshinewriting: “‘I’ve been reading, but I see you looking at my good friends’ – was about Timothee all the time.”
It’s safe to say that Chalamet’s busy schedule this past year kept him from responding to Jonas’ post.
For starters, the 28-year-old’s romance with reality star and makeup mogul Kylie Jenner has blossomed.
The pair were spotted together in Los Angeles, including a quick taco lunch, and his car was spotted pulling into the mother-of-two’s home. He also joined his girlfriend on a family trip to the Bahamas in August.
They then hit the red carpet at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards, sending fans into a frenzy over the match.
When Chalamet wasn’t busy going on dates with Jenner, his work schedule was packed.
He went on a whirlwind promotional tour Dune: part two with co-star Zendaya, which ultimately grossed over $714.4 million at the box office.
When Chalamet wasn’t promoting the sci-fi film, he was busy playing Bob Dylan in the biopic A complete unknownwhich will be released in theaters on Christmas Day.
