What happens after Sherlock Holmes dies
The CBS series “Watson” will premiere after the AFC Championship Game on January 26, 2025 on CBS and can also be streamed on Paramount+. The series will be broadcast regularly from February 16.
“Watson” is set six months after the death of the titular character’s friend and partner, Sherlock Holmes, at the hands of Moriarty. The show stars Morris Chestnut as Dr. John Watson, who resumes his medical career as head of a clinic dedicated to the treatment of rare diseases.
According to the logline, “Watson’s old life isn’t done with him yet — Moriarty and Watson are about to write their own chapter in a story that has fascinated audiences for more than a century.” Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative backbone, featuring a modern take on one of history’s greatest detectives as he shifts his focus from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.
The cast also includes Eve Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Ritchie Coster, Inga Schlingmann and Rochelle Aytes.

“Henry Danger The Movie,” based on the Nickelodeon live-action show, will premiere on the network on January 17 at 7 p.m. and will be available to stream on Paramount+ the same day. A teaser is now available.
The film stars members of the original series cast, including Jace Norman as Henry Danger, Sean Ryan Fox as Jasper, Ella Anderson as Piper Hart, Michael D. Cohen as Schwoz and Frankie Grande as Frankini. Glee Dango will star new character Missy Martin/Superfan.
The movie description reads: “Henry finds himself racing through a maze of alternate realities with his new superfan sidekick.”

The 1997 musical “The Full Monty” was the inspiration for Fox’s “The real FullMonty”, a new two-hour special in which a group of male celebrities expose (almost) everything for charity; the network just unveiled a first look.
The special aims to raise awareness about testing and research for prostate, testicular and colorectal cancer, and to encourage men to have regular check-ups. The cast includes host Anthony Anderson, Taye Diggs (“All American,” “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”), Bruno Tonioli (“Dancing with the Stars”), James Van Der Beek (“Dawson’s Creek,” “Varsity Blues”) and super bowl champion Chris Jones. Van Der Beek recently announced his own diagnosis of colon cancer.
During the special, Anderson will lead the male cast to train and rehearse for a revealing performance choreographed by Mandy Moore (“La La Land,” “So You Think You Can Dance”). During their journey, the celebrities will share their personal stories and how cancer has impacted their lives.
The special airs Monday, December 9 on Fox.

The frantic search for a father in a rural community sows the seeds of conflict in BYUtv’s adaptation of “Primrose Railway Children.”
This story is an adaptation of author Jacqueline Wilson’s novel of the same name, which is itself a modern retelling of Edith Nesbit’s 1905 ‘The Railway Children’. After a young Phoebe (Ava Joyce McCarthy) and her siblings are forced into a Scottish village, their father (Kevin McKidd) goes missing. Phoebe takes on the task of getting to the bottom of her father’s disappearance, discovering connections and secrets in her new community along the way.
The adaptation will be available to stream for free on the BYUtv app and on BYUtv.org from December 8. “Primrose Railway Children” was produced by BYUtv in association with BBC Studios Kids & Family Productions.

Queen Latifah will host the 47th Annual Kennedy Center Awardsairs Sunday, December 22 on CBS before streaming on Paramount+. This is the first time Latifah has hosted the special.
For the past 46 years, the Kennedy Center Honors has celebrated individuals who have made a mark in the performing arts, whether in film, television, music, theater, dance or opera.
Latifah stars in and is executive producer of CBS’ “The Equalizer.” She is a Grammy award-winning musician for her rap single “UNITY” and an Oscar-nominated actress for her role in the film adaptation of “Chicago.” Most recently, she was a 2023 honoree at the 46th annual Kennedy Center Honors.
Done+Dusted will produce the ceremony for the third time in collaboration with ROK Productions. The event is directed by Alex Rudzinski and executive produced by David Jammy, Elizabeth Kelly and Jack Sussman.
PROGRAMMING
Matt Iseman, the host of NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior,” will take over the helm of “On Patrol: Live” on Nov. 29 and 30. This is the second time that Iseman will replace regular host Dan Abrams during the holidays. weekend.
“On Patrol: Live” provides live, minute-by-minute analysis of police officers on patrol working in various departments across the United States. Iseman has previously reported live from three Olympic Games for Peacock and “Live Rescue” on A&E. He has appeared on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’, ‘Lip Sync Battle’, ‘Hollywood Game Night’ and ‘RuPaul’s Celebrity Drag Race’.
