Zach Bryan Exes Deb Peifer, Brianna Chickenfry’s Posts Raising Eyebrows
Zach Bryan‘s ex-girlfriend Deb Peifer seems to weigh on the singer’s latest breakup.
Earlier this week, Peifer, 26, uploaded a cryptic video of herself pouring a glass of white wine while dancing to Taylor Swift‘Beautiful’.
“Wine Thursday with my roommate @mk 💛,” she wrote via TikTok on Thursday, November 7.
Although Peifer didn’t say anything verbally in the video, fans couldn’t help but notice the timing of the post — it came after Brianna “Kip” LaPaglia opened up about the end of her own relationship with Bryan, 28.
While appearing on the Thursday, Nov. 7 episode of Barstool Sports’ “BFFs” podcast, LaPaglia, 25, claimed she was “emotionally abused” during the couple’s one-year romance. Additionally, the online personality claimed that Bryan offered her money if she signed a non-disclosure agreement, which she said she refused.
We weekly has reached out to Bryan’s team for comment and has yet to hear back.
Fans also spotted a few clues in Peifer’s latest video, leading many to believe it was somehow tied to LaPaglia’s latest allegations — for example, the Josh Wine could be a nod to Jos RichardsLaPaglia and Dave Portnoy‘s podcast co-host.
“Josh wine. T Swift lyrics (Dave stands for). The song choice,” one user wrote in the comments section. “The wine. The smile. But maybe it’s all a coincidence. Still, I like this for her. 🥰.”
Although Peifer hasn’t directly addressed LaPaglia’s claims, she seemingly showed her support for the newly single online personality in a separate video last month.
“I don’t really think I should say this, but I think I want to. To be honest, I’m not 100 percent sure yet, but I just want to be clear about the fact that I don’t find any satisfaction in hurting other people, especially other women,” Peifer said. through TikTok on October 24, just two days after Bryan publicly announced his split from LaPaglia. “I feel like I’ve seen some comments on my personal social media pages referencing the fact that I do and don’t do that.”
“I wanted to make sure that was clear,” she continued. “I think emotions are so nuanced and complicated, but it doesn’t make me feel better because other people are hurting in any way. I don’t think you should either, but that’s your journey.”
For his part, Bryan first announced his divorce from LaPaglia via an Instagram Story statement on October 22. He has since 17 more dates added to his Stop the time tour as LaPaglia has begun moving out of Bryan’s home in Massachusetts.
“I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart,” Bryan wrote when he publicly announced the breakup — a move LaPaglia claimed “blindsided” her. “She has loved me unconditionally for a long time and I will always thank her for that. I personally have had an incredibly difficult year and have struggled through some pretty serious things. I thought it would be helpful for both of us to date in different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”
