Garth Brooks accuser says star ‘desperate’ to stop ‘fans learning horror’

Brooks has denied the allegations and even took the stage in front of him Vegas days of stay after the lawsuit was filed.

He said in a statement: “Over the past two months, I have been endlessly harassed with threats, lies and tragic stories about what my future would be if I did not write a multi-million dollar check.

“It was like waving a loaded gun in my face. Hush money, no matter how much or how little, is still hush money. In my mind, it means admitting to behavior that I am not capable of doing – ugly acts, not human. ” should ever do to another.”

His statement continued: “We filed suit against this individual almost a month ago to speak out against extortion and defamation of character. We submitted this anonymously for the benefit of the families on both sides.

“I trust the system, I am not afraid of the truth, and I am not the man they have portrayed me to be.”
