Man shares footage from inside hantavirus quarantine

An American passenger who sailed on the cruise ship that saw a hantavirus outbreak has shared video of his life inside a quarantine unit in Omaha, Nebraska.

Jake Rosmarin said he was feeling “well” and “in relatively good spirits” on the second day of his quarantine.

Three people died aboard the ship where there were nine confirmed cases and two suspected but the UN health agency has said there is “no sign” of a larger hantavirus outbreak.

The last passengers have now evacuated the ship.
