‘Off Campus’ adds Phillipa Soo and India Fowler as Grace to the cast

Two weeks before “Off Campus” premieres on Prime Video, the college romance series has announced two new cast additions for Season 2.

India Fowler (“Fear Street: Prom Queen”) will appear in the series regular role of Grace Ivers, the love interest of John Logan, played by Antonio Cipriano. The show’s official Instagram posted a clip of Cipriano breaking the news to Fowler and inviting her to join the cast and crew of “Off Campus” in Vancouver.

“Hamilton” star Phillipa Soo will also join the cast as Scarlett, a theater artist who guest directs an original play in the college drama department.

The show’s official description states that the show “follows an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery – forging deep friendships and creating lasting bonds, while dealing with the complexities that come with the transition to adulthood.”

Based on the bestselling books by Elle Kennedy, Season 1 follows the romance between silent songwriter Hannah (Ella Bright) and Briar University all-star hockey athlete Garrett (Belmont Cameli). The show’s first season also introduces the rest of Garrett and Logan’s hockey quartet, John Tucker (Jalen Thomas Brooks) and Dean DiLaurentis (Stephen Kalyn), along with Hannah’s best friend and Dean’s love interest, Allie (Mika Abdalla).

Although “Off Campus” has not confirmed that Logan and Grace will be the focus of season 2, the couple’s novel is the second in the book series, followed by John Tucker and Dean.

Creator Louisa Levy co-showruns and executive produces “Off Campus” with Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman are executive producers for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty also serve as executive producers.
