“James Bond” actor Daniel Craig and his wife, Rachel Weiszhave quietly sold their old Brooklyn mansion for $11.8 million — nearly a decade after buying the historic home for just over half that price.

Craig, 58, and Weisz, 56, who tied the knot in 2011, bought their elegant townhome for $6.75 million in August 2017, not long after it was damaged in a New Year’s Eve fire that caused significant damage to the top floor.

Weisz and Craig are said to have extensively renovated the entire five-story abode, turning it into a luxurious retreat, complete with an elevator, a rooftop deck, and a large terrace and garden.

However, in late 2025, Craig and Weisz reportedly quietly started shopping the six-bedroom home. according to The Real Deal. Sources told the channel that the couple’s home was put under contract at the end of the year, “after a quiet marketing process” managed by a Compass agent. Pamela D’Arc.

Records show the mansion was not listed and appears to have been sold off-market in a deal that recently closed.

The home’s sale comes just a year after Craig and Weisz sold an adjacent mansion for $4.05 million. This deal also flew very under the radar and raised questions about whether the A-list couple has left Brooklyn, or at least their Cobble Hill neighborhood, for good.

It could well be that the duo has decided to move into one of their own other impressive properties, including a house in London and a country retreat in upstate New York.

Located in Ulster County, the New York property was purchased by Weisz in 2008 for $2.1 million, when it was described as offering three bedrooms, four bathrooms and nearly 124 acres of land – ideal for the A-list couple, who are known to be fiercely guarded over their private lives.

The property was originally built in 1785, but appears to have undergone significant renovations since it last changed hands.

Records show that Weisz, who shares one child, has a daughter Elegancewith Craig, and also has a son, Henryfrom a previous relationship with filmmaker Darren Aronofskypurchased the property through an LLC with which it is still registered.

As for their British home, the British actors are said to be using the property as their main residence, having moved into the house together not long after their wedding in 2011.

Located in the upscale Primrose Hill area, where people love to live Harry Styles, Rita OraAnd Kate Moss all own homes, the property was purchased by Craig several years before he and Weisz started dating.

In 2024, it was reported that the couple planned to make some extensive modifications to the home, which was originally built in 1840. Daily mail revealed they had won a battle to start renovations after neighbors objected to their plans.

If the couple chooses to cut ties with New York City, it will be the first time in over fifteen years that either of them will not have a home base in the Big Apple.

Before clearing out their Brooklyn home, the duo owned an East Village apartment, which they bought for $6 million in October 2012. Craig and Weisz owned the three-bedroom condo for nearly seven years before putting it on the market in May 2019 for $6.5 million. They accepted a $6 million offer in August of that year.

Six years later, one of their former neighbors in the building spoke out to praise the duo, posting in a TikTok video that she only had “nice things” to say about the famous couple.

Videos posted as part of the trend usually start with the content creator revealing a simple fact about themselves alongside a photo. In Wiles’ case, she wrote, “Told her my upstairs neighbor was a celebrity,” posting a photo of herself posing in her kitchen.

That fact is then followed by a stranger’s less than impressed reaction to that statement.

“So one of the housewives?” Writing in her video, Wiles joked that people always assumed the star she was referring to was a member of the Bravo cast.

Then the truth about the fact is finally revealed, with Wiles talking about how her neighbors were upper Hollywood, and sharing a photo of Craig and Weisz with the hashtag #holyairball.

In the caption of her clip, the TikTok star shared some more details about her living situation when she was neighbors with the A-list couple.

“To be clear: neither of us live there anymore, but they were our upstairs neighbors for ten years!” she wrote. “I only have nice things to say.”
