Jumeirah Mallorca announces reopening summer 2026 | News

Jumeirah Mallorca will reopen for the summer season on March 14, welcoming guests to the iconic clifftop above Port de Sóller. Located between the UNESCO-protected Serra de Tramuntana and the glittering Mediterranean Sea, the hotel returns with a season shaped by rare heavenly moments and culturally rich programming that connects guests with Mallorca’s natural landscapes. At the heart of the season, a once-in-a-lifetime total solar eclipse takes place on August 12, putting Jumeirah Mallorca directly in the path of totality and making it one of the Mediterranean’s most privileged vantage points to witness the phenomenon. To mark this occasion, the hotel is organizing an extraordinary four-day celestial celebration from August 10 to 14, entirely organized around the solar eclipse. From sunrise rituals to moonlit evenings, guests are invited to shape their own journey along an itinerary designed to connect astronomy, gastronomy, wellbeing and the hotel’s dramatic clifftop setting.

From August 10, the Astronomy Masterclass will be delivered in exclusive collaboration with the island of Mallorca-based Astronomy Institute, offering expert insight into the science and spectacle of the solar eclipse through state-of-the-art solar telescopes.

On the night of the solar eclipse, the evening begins 100 meters above the sea with a moon-inspired cocktail reception, setting the tone for an extraordinary celebration of gastronomy and live entertainment under the stars. As the eclipse unfolds, experts from the Astronomy Institute will provide insightful commentary and viewing guides so guests can toast the heavenly moment in a rarefied setting. The experience continues with a choice of two exceptional dining journeys: a Mediterranean gala dinner in Cap Roig, featuring the region’s finest seasonal ingredients, or refined Nikkei cuisine in the Sunset Lounge, each served against a breathtaking nighttime panorama.

Rates start from EUR 600 per night for a Deluxe Room with Mountain View. For more information about booking a stay this season, please visit www.jumeirah.com/en/stay/mallorca.
