Rosie O’Donnell, Mark Ruffalo and others reject the US attack on Iran

Hollywood stars are speaking out against the major military attack by the United States and Israel on Iran, which began on Saturday morning.
“The White Stripes” singer Jack White took over Instagram to criticize Donald Trump’s record on international conflict during his second term and mock the president’s appearance during his Saturday morning statement on the strikes.
“Don’t you like seeing him declare war on a country while wearing a trucker cap that says ‘USA’ on it?” White wrote. ‘Behold, the leader of the ‘Council of Peace.’ For the next war announcement, Donny, may I suggest sitting with your feet up on the Resolute desk while eating a Big Mac in a velvet tracksuit? Venezuela, Greenland, Iran, Cuba, what’s the difference? Don Jr. and Barron don’t have to fight or die, just other people’s children, so… invade and bomb away! Rosie O’Donnell, a longtime Trump critic, also agreed Instagram to protest the strikes. Along with the caption “He only lies and always #impeachtrump,” she posted two quotes from Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign. The first read: “If Kamala wins, only death and destruction await because she is the candidate of endless wars. I am the candidate of peace. I am peace.” The second read: ‘I’m not going to start a war, I’m going to stop wars.’
John Cusack wrote on X that entering into a conflict with Iran was Trump’s way of diverting attention from the Epstein files. He wrote“Trump starts a war with the dog – to distract from Epstein and do what Netenyahu wants – who has been lobbying for this for over 30 years – Had enough yet?”
Carrie Coon has also posted against the attacks on she wrote“’Ministry of War.’ They weren’t kidding about that.”
On Instagram threadsMark Ruffalo posted an article about one of Trump’s top negotiators with Iran, Jared Kushner, writing, “He was sent to ensure we went to war.”
The United States and Israel sent strikes across Iran on Saturday morning after weeks of mounting threats from President Trump. The president posted one video about Truth Social On Saturday morning, it was claimed that negotiations to curb Iran’s nuclear capabilities and prevent war had failed, prompting the nations to take action.
