Family of Idaho murder victim Kaylee Goncalves sends message to her killer

Kristi Goncalves has just begun the arduous task of searching her daughter’s belongings, now that the case has been closed and Kohberger will spend the rest of his life in prison for the students’ murders.

She has shared her struggle in one series of Facebook postsdocumenting her search through boxes filled with Kaylee’s clothing, fashion accessories and beauty products.

When she recently came across her 21-year-old daughter’s hairbrush, teeth holder and a Post-it note with the simple message, “Hello, my name is Kaylee,” along with a drawing of a heart, the grieving mother snapped.

“These Kaylee things hit me hard today. I want her back so bad!!!!” Kristi wrote in the caption before running into Kohberger, “FU BK!!!!! I wish (Kaylee’s dad) Steve could have 1 minute with him in that cell. 1 minute is all it takes.”
