Nickelodeon actress dies during Hit and Run

Kianna Underwood, who appeared on the final season of Nickelodeon’s ‘All That’, has been identified by. multiple media sources as the victim of an accident Friday morning in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn. The NYPD confirmed that a female victim was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 33.

A sedan struck Underwood as she crossed the street at Pitkin and Mother Gaston Blvd. just before 7 a.m., and she was then dragged for nearly two blocks. according to TMZ. No arrests have been made in the hit-and-run.

Underwood appeared in seven episodes of the hit sketch comedy “All That” in 2005 with stars Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon and Kenan Thompson, and also appeared in Nickelodeon’s “Little Bill.” In the animated series ‘Little Bill’, created by Bill Cosby, she played Fuchsia Glover, the cousin of the main character, appearing in 23 episodes between 1999 and 2004.

“All That” is a Nickelodeon children’s television series that ran from 1994 to 2005, featuring original short comedy sketches and weekly musical guests aimed at a young audience. The show featured pop culture parodies performed by various child and teen actors.

“Little Bill” was based on the “Little Bill” book series written by Crosby, and focused on 5-year-old “Little” Bill Glover in Philadelphia as he moved through everyday life with a fantastic imagination.

A native of New York City, Underwood also appeared in Nancy Savoca’s 1999 comedy “The 24-Hour Woman.” The indie film starred Rosie Perez, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Patti LuPone. She also provided voiceovers for an animated TV movie “Santa, Baby” in 2001.
