Pregnant TikTok star Sydney Nicole Gifford promises to be a great boy mom
Pregnant TikTok star Sydney Nicole Gifford can’t wait to meet her son in early 2025.
“[I’m looking forward to] everything,” Gifford, 24, shared exclusively We weekly at the Miss USA 2024 beauty pageant on Sunday, August 4. “I absolutely love Lego, so I think I’m going to make a great boy mom. I like Lego and cars and all this stuff. This was made for me.”
Earlier this month, the social media star announced she was expecting her first child with fiancé Nathan Slonker.
Although the first trimester was “the hardest” for her, Gifford said she felt great when she showed off her baby bump on a red carpet for the first time.
“In my first trimester, when I was nauseous and throwing up, I didn’t feel great at all,” she said Us while wearing a Miscreants dress from Revolve at the Peacock Theater. “But I feel better now and my stomach is out, so I feel great. … Once you find something that fits well, it’s a lot of fun to show off your baby bump.”
In a TikTok from August 4 videoGifford said her morning sickness lasted all day. She suffered from hormonal acne and fatigue, which left her ‘out of breath’ in her first trimester.
Gifford also said she had some trouble enjoying food without feeling sick. “I just felt so gross I didn’t want to eat,” she told her followers. “It was a lot.”
One person who has supported Gifford through thick and thin is her fiancé. The couple was engaged since May 2023 and participated in a pregnancy photo shoot together before announcing their news.
Off the cameras, the 24-year-old Sloneker has made life a little easier for Gifford.
“He was absolutely amazing,” she said. “I loved cooking before pregnancy and when I was pregnant I can’t do that. He cooked and cleaned and he was great. I can’t wait for him to become a father.”
As Gifford continues to document her life on social media, she hopes fans will be both entertained and inspired by her journey to motherhood. She also wants to remind her followers to “go after” what they want so they can live the life they dream of.
“I always hoped I could have a job I love, fall in love and have a family,” she said. “When you’re younger it seems like such a crazy dream, but just go after it, work hard and pursue what you want.”
