Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘The Family Man’ Season 3 Sets Prime Video Date

Prime Video has revealed the global premiere date for the highly anticipated third season of the hit Indian series ‘The Family Man’.

The critically acclaimed spy action thriller sees Manoj Bajpayee reprise the role of Srikant Tiwari, the elite undercover agent who juggles national security missions with home life. The new season introduces formidable antagonists, played by Jaideep Ahlawat as Rukma and Nimrat Kaur as Meera, who push the protagonist to her limits.

The third season, created by Raj & DK under the D2R Films banner, marks an expanded creative team. While the powerhouse duo returns as creators, writers and directors, they are joined by Suman Kumar and Tusshar Seyth as additional directors this season. The series is written by Raj, DK and Suman Kumar, with dialogues by Sumit Arora.

“’The Family Man’ has redefined long-form storytelling and has become part of everyday conversations, social discourse and the broader cultural zeitgeist,” said Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of Originals, Prime Video India. “The upcoming season promises an even more thrilling ride, with its signature blend of humor and action, supported by stellar performances from the ensemble cast.”

This season, Srikant is on the run, navigating uncharted territories while facing threats from both within and beyond India’s borders. According to the makers, the stakes have never been higher. “The hunter becomes the prey, as Srikant faces a never-before-seen threat in the form of Rukma – a threat that not only endangers him and his career, but also his family,” Raj & DK said.

“Over the years, the love and admiration that audiences have expressed for ‘The Family Man’ has been truly overwhelming,” said Raj & DK. “We know audiences have been patient and we wanted to make sure the wait was worth it. This season we’ve raised the stakes with even more high-level action, a gripping story, compelling performances and an elevated edge-of-the-seat experience.”

D2R Films, founded by Raj & DK, has produced hit series including ‘Farzi’ and the global series ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’, along with cult favorite films such as ‘Go Goa Gone’, ‘Shor in the City’ and the blockbuster ‘Stree’.

Season 3 of ‘The Family Man’ will stream on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide starting November 21.
