Elvis’ heartbreaking nickname for Priscilla Presley unveiled

The king of Rock and Roll, who died in 1977 at the age of 42, had used the name for the first time for his mother, Gladys Love Presley, and later expanded it to Priscilla together during their years.
A source close to the Presley family claimed: “Priscilla wanted fans to know the softer, more intimate side of Elvis. The nickname Satnin was not only playful – it showed how much she meant for him.
“But when sharing it now she is also open about the contradictions of life with Elvis – the good and the ugly, because their story was far from simple.”
Priscilla married Elvis in 1967 at the age of 21, after she met him in Germany when she was only 14 and he was 24. The couple had one daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, who died in 2023 at the age of 54.
Although their marriage ended in divorce in 1973, they stayed close four years later until his death, where Priscilla often described their lasting band as ‘unmistakable’.
Another insider claimed: “For decades, Priscilla kept so many personal details private, but at the age of 80 she is the feeling that it is time to show the world that Elvis was really behind the glitter. She loved him, but she also lived through the ugliest party of Roem, things, things.
The complicated inheritance of Elvis has been repeatedly visited on the screen. Baz Luhrmann’s 2022 Biopic Elvis Austin Butler played as the singer and Olivia Dejonge as Priscilla and earned eight Oscar nominations and support from the Presley family.
Sofia Coppola was released in 2023 PriscillaBased on Priscilla’s memoirs from 1985 Elvis & Me.
The film contained Cailee Spaeny as Priscilla and Jacob Elordi as Elvis, where Spaeny won the Volpi Cup in Venice and earned a Golden Globe nomination.
Priscilla has thought about what Elvis could have kept later years if he had lived more than 42.
She said: “I am asked a lot what Elvis would have done if he was not taken as young. Musically, I think he was pretty happy with how things were completed. He thought it was great to know that his music meant something with people. As he got older, I would have moved more to gospel music. If you ever saw what I had.”
She also admitted that she was still dreaming of her former husband.
“Do I dream of Elvis? Of course,” she confessed. “If someone has been such a large part of your life, that will certainly happen. Living with him was a roller coaster, but I don’t think I will ever find someone I love as much as I love him.”
A family source said: “Because of her memoirs and recent interviews and social messages, Priscilla Elvis has unmasked in a way that is raw – but sincere. By publicly using Satnin, she makes people catch a glimpse of the vulnerable man she knew – not only the superstar. It’s bittersweet, but it is her truth.”
