Wicked, Kathy Hilton and Jennifer Tilly at Project Angel Food Gala

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Kathy Hilton opens her house for a good cause.

A dinner for 12 on Hilton’s estate went for $ 40,000 during the live auction on the Angel Food’s Angel Awards Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday evening.

Project Angel Food is a meal delivery organization for seriously ill residents in Los Angeles County

Two winning bids for $ 16,000 won every lunch with former “Rhobh” star Lisa Rinna in the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The first plot – two tickets for the “Wicked: For Good” World Première in New York City in November, together with Round trip flights and hotel accommodations – sold for $ 13,000.

In total, the evening collected $ 950,000 for the Angel Food project, making it the most successful Angel Awards since 2019.

The event, which took place at the Paramount Studio plot in Hollywood, honored the old Angel Food supporter and volunteer Jennifer Tilly project with the Angel Award. Cedars-Sinai was recognized with the Leadership in Love Angel Award, which was presented by Variety‘s Marc Malkin and accepted by Cedars-SINAI Medical Center and Cedars-SINAI Health System CEO Peter L. Slavin, MD.

Tilly said she accepted her prize on behalf of the Angel Food -Staf project and volunteers who work behind the scenes. She praised the drivers who deliver the meals. “I think that emotional food is just as important as food that you eat,” said Tilly, who was presented by Hilton.

Cedars-Sinai’s Slavin said: “We are more than willing to accept this price, but [want] To thank our colleagues at Project Angel Food for everything they do – the heroic work they do – to meet the needs of thousands of people in this community, to ensure that they get the food they need to be healthy and to live a great life. ”

Loni Love, Caroline Rhea, “Wings” fellow Steven Weber and Amy Yasbeck, Charo and Project Angel Food CEO Richard Ayoub also made on stage.

“What we have learned this year is that burning buildings can destroy, but they cannot destroy the human mind,” said Ayoub. “The federal government can reduce our financing, but we will not reduce our services. Food is not an option. Compassion is not an option. Giving up is not an option. Project Angel Food brings the best to Los Angeles and is where Hope lives!”

The program started with a three-songs set by the Frontwoman of Go-Go, Belinda Carlisle. Famous auctioneer Harry Santa-Olalla carried out the live auction. The guest list also contained Cheryl Tiegs, Kirsten Vengress, La County Supervisor Lindsey Horvath, Michael Corbett, Mike Stoller, Shannon K and Stuart O’Keffe.
